This policy explains what personal information Fixxo collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have kept it plain and as short as we can.
Fixxo is a trading name of Fixxo Technologies, a partnership firm, with its registered office at 2nd Floor, No. 91, 19th Main, 6th Block, Koramangala, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka 560095. Where this policy says "we", "us" or "Fixxo", it means Fixxo Technologies. It covers our website, fixxo.in, and the repair, sales, rental and mail-in services we provide.

We collect this when you fill in a form on our site, message us on WhatsApp, call us, or bring in or send us a device.
To repair a device and test it properly, we usually need to get into it, and that normally means you sharing your passcode with us. We need it shared rather than entered once, because testing and stability checks require getting back into the device several times. On iPhones and iPads a passcode has always been needed. On newer Apple silicon (M-series) Macs it is now needed too.
For most repairs, such as a screen, battery, back glass or charging port, your personal data is never touched. The exception is serious logic board or storage damage, where the data itself may be at risk. We never erase anything on your device unless the repair genuinely requires it, and even then only after we have checked with you first.
Sharing your passcode does give us access to what is on the device. In practice our technicians open apps only to test the repair, and have no reason to look through your personal files. Even so, please back up your device before handing it over, wherever it is still working well enough to do so. We cannot take responsibility for accidental data loss in unforeseen situations. We may also ask you to turn off Find My, and we will guide you through it.
If you would rather not share your passcode, talk to us. Depending on the device there are usually other options, such as signing the device out of your iCloud or Find My account and letting us restore the operating system, which erases everything on the device, or, on a working Mac, creating a separate test account for us to use so your own account stays private.

We do not send promotional or marketing messages. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
We share your information only with the service providers we need to run the business, and only what they need. These include:
Some of these providers, including Webflow, Google and Meta, store or process data on servers outside India.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
You can pay by cash or UPI, or by card using an in-store card machine if you prefer. We do not use an online payment gateway, and we do not store your card details.
Our website uses cookies and similar tools, managed through Google Tag Manager, for two purposes: analytics, to see how the site is used (Google Analytics), and advertising, to measure and show our ads (Google Ads and a Meta pixel). These may set cookies on your device and share some usage data with Google and Meta. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.
Calls to and from our business number may be recorded, through our telephony provider, for quality and record-keeping. Recordings are stored by that provider and retained in line with their retention policy.
The customer reviews shown on our site, including names and photos, are taken from public reviews left for us on Google.
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide the service, honour any warranty, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. After that, we remove it.

Our services are meant for adults. We do not aim them at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe. No system is ever completely secure, but we work to protect what we hold and to limit who can access it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
