The iPhone Air replaces the Plus in Apple's lineup. It is the thinnest iPhone Apple has ever made, with a titanium frame holding it together. Getting there meant cutting things: one rear camera instead of two, one speaker instead of two, the smallest battery in the range, and no SIM tray.
People expected the iPhone Air to bend. It doesn't. It took over 200 pounds of force to fold one, and an iPhone 6 bent at 110. Drops are the real problem. In six-foot drop tests the back panel cracked on the first landing, and a face-down drop shattered the screen. Use a protective case.
The eSIM is worth understanding. Your number sits on a chip on the logic board, tied to a 32-digit EID set at the factory. Replace the board and the EID changes with it, so your carrier has to issue the eSIM again. There is no SIM tray either, so you can't move your number to a spare phone while the Air is under repair. We repair logic boards at chip level rather than swapping them, so the original board stays in your phone and your number stays with it.
Ceramic Shield 2 resists scratches better than any iPhone glass before it, so people stop using a case. Scratches were never the problem. In six-foot drop tests the Air's screen shattered face down, same as every iPhone. It is a 120Hz ProMotion panel, so ask for a full display assembly. Cheap ones lose ProMotion and True Tone.
The back is Ceramic Shield, and it still cracked on the first drop that landed back down. The panel comes off on its own, which is also how we reach the battery, so a cracked back stays a small job. We move the MagSafe magnets and the charging coil across to the new panel.
The Air has the smallest battery of any recent iPhones. That is the trade for 5.6mm. If it needs a top-up by evening, that may just be the phone. When the battery is actually worn, the swap is clean: a low current releases the glue and it lifts out through the back glass, so the screen never comes off.
Often it is simply lint packed into the USB-C port, which we clear in minutes, so try a different cable first and please do not poke around in there with anything metal. When the fault is the port flex or a charging chip on the board, or the phone will not power on at all, most shops quote a whole new board. We repair the board itself, down to the failed part.
We inspect thoroughly and share a detailed diagnosis report. You'll know exactly what's wrong before you commit to anything.
Clear pricing before any work begins. Parts, labor, and timeline upfront. You decide whether to go ahead.
1 to 3 days for common repairs. Chip-level logic board work may take up to 2 weeks. We keep you posted throughout.
90-day minimum on every repair. 3 months on chip-level logic board work. 1 year on display replacements.
It's an amazing experience, best customer service I have seen in my life. Accurate and best diagnosis provided along with recommendation with customer in mind not revenue. Please continue your good work. BTW received refund in a day which is not a norm in Indian service industry.
It depends on the job: a screen, a back glass, a battery, or board-level work. We do not publish prices, because they move with the parts market and would be stale within a month. Tell us what is wrong on WhatsApp and we will quote you straight away.
Your number is an eSIM, so there is no card to pull out and put in another phone. If the Air will not turn on, you cannot move the profile across yourself. Jio, Airtel and Vi will all issue a fresh eSIM to a spare handset, usually within a couple of hours, though Airtel may ask you to visit a store to verify your identity.
In most cases, yes, and this is exactly the kind of repair we are strongest at. When an iPhone goes dead after water exposure, the damage is usually on the logic board, and Apple or most shops will only offer a full board swap or write the phone off, which is why the quote is so high or you are told it is beyond repair. We work at component level instead: we open the board, clean off corrosion, identify the specific parts that got damaged, and repair just those.
We can't promise every board is saveable, since liquid is unpredictable, but we have brought back hundreds of dead iPhones. Two things help your odds: stop trying to charge it or switch it on, since that spreads the damage, and get it to us as soon as you can before corrosion sets in.
Yes, True Tone and auto-brightness work fine post display replacement.
Regarding the "unverified part" message: In MOST cases it goes away after completing the calibration, finally showing up as "Genuine" or "Used" part. That calibration step can be temperamental though, and Apple changes it with every iOS update, so we can't promise exactly how the note will finally read on your phone. What we do guarantee is a display that works perfectly, which is what our warranty covers.
For most repairs, like a screen, battery, back glass, or charging port, your data is never touched. The rare exception is if there's severe logic board damage, where the data itself may be at some risk. If any repair would genuinely require erasing the phone, we always check with you first.
That said, we can't take liability for accidental data loss in unforeseen situations, so if there is anything important on the phone, back it up to iCloud or your computer before you hand it over. Just to be safe.
One practical thing: we will need your iPhone passcode for testing purposes. For some repairs we may also ask you to turn off Find My iPhone first, and we will walk you through it.
Yes. We take in MacBooks and iPhones (and other Apple devices) from across India by courier. You can either ship it to us yourself, or we can arrange a pickup. Our mail-in page walks you through the full process.
