I had to get individual key replacement for my MacBook Air M1 series, and everywhere I was denied stating that the entire keyboard has to be replaced. Butterfly keyboard keys are notoriously fragile and difficult to replace individually. Especially, if the underlying mechanism is damaged, key replacement may not be feasible. Request you bring the MacBook - we shall assess and advise you whether individual key replacement is viable or whether a full keyboard replacement makes more sense.

Most individual key replacements are done within 1–2 hours, subject to confirming part availability for your specific MacBook model. We stock keycaps and key units for most MacBook models, so waiting on parts is rarely an issue.
We understand the instinct, but no - this is not the right approach for liquid-damaged MacBooks, and we don't recommend it. Liquid-damaged devices are unpredictable: a MacBook that's currently functional or partially functional can go completely dead over time, some times even without any intervention. Removing individual keys does not address the liquid that has already reached the logic board and/or internal components. The correct first step is to submit your MacBook for a full liquid damage diagnosis. We'll assess the extent of the damage, dry and clean the internals properly, and give you a detailed report with our recommendations before any repair work begins. Please note: liquid damage diagnosis outcomes are not guaranteed - the device's condition can change even during the process, and we'll be transparent with you about that upfront.
When multiple keys stop working at once, it's rarely a case of each key failing independently - there's likely an underlying issue causing it. Individual key replacement may or may not resolve it. In such cases, we'd recommend getting a proper diagnosis done before proceeding with any service.
Not necessarily. It could be debris under the keys, a keyboard connector issue, or something at the logic board level. We diagnose it properly before recommending a fix - don't assume you need a replacement without getting it checked first.
In most cases, yes - we can replace the full key unit including the underlying scissor mechanism. That said, it's not guaranteed for every model or every key, so we'll assess it first and advise. Or give it an attempt at least.
Yes, in most cases, we replace just the keycap. It's the quickest and most affordable fix.
