My MacBook Pro died suddenly a week ago, after 7 years of working quite well. An Apple product dealer offered to buy the dead Mac for 7000, probably the price of the aluminium casing. My Mac book was first diagnosed by Apple service centre. They advised to change the Main Logic Board costing ₹45,000 to ₹50.000. I decided to try Fixxo instead. I received my Mac book duly repaired by Fixxo. I also bought a used charger from Fixxo. Both are working fine. I highly recommend this place. My Macbook pro was having issues related to the logic board, the authorized service center told me I have to replace the entire logic board for around 50k. Then I went to iTweak, they kept my device for 1 week even though they told it will take 48 hrs for diagnosis. Finally, they charged 500rs and told it cannot be repaired. Fixxo is far from where I stay, still I went there. They clearly told me the procedure they follow for logic board issues. They told me it will take 1-2 weeks for diagnosis but within 4 days I got a call that my device is fixed and it is a level 1 issue [low level issue], so I have to pay 7.5k. Its been more than 3 months and my device is working fine, although I use it as a secondary laptop.
These guys are awesome!!! I went to iCare centre HSR Layout for Mac Book repair. They said it can't be repaired. I have to change logic board blah blah ...which costs me around 50K. I took back my Mac and went to Fixxo. Voila!!! They fixed it in no time. My humble request to all, never ever go to iCare centre HSR layout if your device is out of warranty. They work on Motto "Loot who ever comes in". Be careful!!! Kudos Fixxo you guys rock :-)

We proceed with a motherboard repair only if we are reasonably confident of its stability post-repair. If the repair is only a temporary resolution, we clearly indicate that to the customer and advise against the service.
Also, we do provide a 3 months’ warranty with all motherboard repairs. In our experience, if the motherboard is not stable, it will act up within 2-3 weeks of usage, in which case you’re covered under warranty. If the motherboard works fine for over a month, then it is good to go the distance :)

Motherboard replacement on a MacBook is quite expensive, while repair costs only a fraction of that amount.
So our best effort is to first try and repair the motherboard or MLB. If the repair attempt fails (some motherboards are just beyond repair), only then do we suggest customers to go for a motherboard replacement.
