A damaged M3 Air screen shows up in more ways than a clean crack. If any of these sound familiar, bring it in.
Simple to describe, less so to do well.
Pre-QC: before a single screw comes out, we test the whole device, possible as long as the display is partly usable or takes an external monitor. Anything already wrong gets logged now, so it can't get pinned on the repair later.
Uninstall the faulty display: ESD-safe mats, grounded gloves, proper precision drivers. Nothing shorts, no screw head gets stripped.
Install the new display: a soft-connect and a full test first, then the final fit and pack-up.
Post-QC: we calibrate the new panel until colour and True Tone read right and the lid angle sensor wakes the machine cleanly.
From the bench
The M3 Air shares its display assembly with the M2, so a panel from either generation fits straight in. That's not true for the M4 though: that model switched to a Center Stage camera built into the display, making its screen a different part altogether. Handy to know if you're ever offered a suspiciously cheap "Air" screen.
Nothing leaves until it clears our 32-point checklist. Then we clean it up, charge it, and hand it over with an invoice and a written warranty.
It’s a little bit like visiting a doctor. Don’t you like it when your doctor has an understanding ear, and explains the ailment to you?
All things considered, the quality of service is only as good as the expertise of the repairman. Workmanship matters!
All Apple devices, all repairs, we are your one-stop shop. We’re probably the only one in town who do L4 chip-level repair on Logic boards, arguably :)
We inspect thoroughly and share a detailed diagnosis report. You'll know exactly what's wrong before you commit to anything.
Clear pricing before any work begins. Parts, labor, and timeline upfront. You decide whether to go ahead.
1 to 3 days for common repairs. Chip-level logic board work may take up to 2 weeks. We keep you posted throughout.
90-day minimum on every repair. 3 months on chip-level logic board work. 1 year on display replacements.
We avoid publishing an exact figure on the page, because it varies with the MacBook size (13-inch or 15-inch), the colour of the MacBook, and the quality option you go with. A number we post today can go stale and wrong a month later.
To give you a rough idea though: around 20k to 30k for the 13-inch M3 Air, and 30k to 40k for the 15-inch. Treat that as a ballpark, the figure on the day can land either side of it. Send a quick WhatsApp with your model and colour and we'll share the exact cost.
It's usually a same-day job, assuming the display panel is available in inventory. If the panel has to be ordered in, it's more like 3 to 4 days. Quickest thing is to check with us first and we'll share the exact turnaround for your model and colour.
Well, most often, yes, it is the display that is faulty and needs replacement. In some cases, these symptoms appear due to fault with some internal part - display flex cable or Main Logic Board (MLB). We can confirm only after a proper diagnosis.
Yes, as long as you are on a recent macOS version. If you are on an older version, a quick update usually sorts it out. If it still does not show after that, bring it back and we will take a look.
Mostly, yes. For many colours we can procure an original Apple display, sometimes used, sometimes new. For a few less common colours, original displays simply are not available, so we use a premium-quality compatible display instead. These perform just as well, and to all but the most discerning eye there is no visible difference. Whatever the case, we will lay out the options transparently, each with its own price and warranty, when you get in touch.
Yes. We take in MacBooks, iPhones, and other Apple devices from across India by courier. You can ship it to us yourself, or we can arrange a pickup. Our mail-in page walks you through the full process.
No, the old part stays with us. Retaining the replaced part is standard practice across premium Apple repair providers, Apple included, and it is part of how the pricing and warranty on a replacement work. We have explained the reasoning in more detail in this article.
